The loss of a dog is difficult for all of us and especially for children who may not be familiar with processing these emotions. I wrote Best Friends Forever to help children work through the grief of losing their dog by interactive and expressive activities at the end of the story. The love a little boy Elliott, shares with his best friend Oso shines through the pages and invites children to celebrate the love they shared with their dog just like Elliott and Oso did.
